What “Free Pickup” Means
Free pickup is qualification-based. A request is free to submit, but pickup is confirmed only after the appliance condition, exact location, removal access, local demand and current route or provider availability are reviewed.
No request form creates a guaranteed appointment. A pickup becomes confirmed only after the request is accepted and pickup details are provided.
Who Performs Pickups
Free Reliable Appliance Pickup operates as a service-area network. Depending on location and availability, requests may be handled by independent local pickup professionals or approved regional routes. We do not represent that every city page is a company-owned storefront or local branch.
Local providers are expected to use the information submitted with the request, communicate pickup requirements clearly and confirm service before arrival.
How We Review a Request
Appliance Condition
Tell us whether each appliance is fully working, needs repair, is not working or is unknown. Photos and testable condition help the review.
Removal Access
Include floor level, stairs or elevator, gates, narrow doors, parking or loading restrictions and carrying distance.
Exact Location
Use the actual city, ZIP code and pickup address. Route availability can vary even within the same county.
Route Availability
Qualification does not automatically create availability. A local route or provider must still be able to accept the request.
Current Qualification Standards
Working or reusable washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers and stoves/ranges are priority categories. Mixed major-appliance loads may qualify when approximately 80% of the load is working. A single nonworking major appliance generally does not qualify for free pickup.
Dishwashers are considered only when included with two or more other major working appliances. Microwaves are not accepted alone.
Photo and Information Standards
Clear information helps reduce delays and mismatched pickups. For refrigerators and freezers, include exterior and interior photos and current cooling status when known. For washers and dryers, include full-machine photos and cycle condition when known. For stoves/ranges, include the cooktop and oven area. A model/serial label is useful when available.
Always include access details before pickup is confirmed, especially for apartments, condos, stairs, elevators, gated properties, long carries and restricted loading areas.
Customer and Provider Expectations
Before Pickup
Customers should provide accurate condition and access information. Providers should confirm acceptance and timing before service.
At Pickup
The appliance and access path should match the submitted information. New conditions may require the request to be reviewed again.
After Pickup
Working and reusable appliances may be reused, repaired, resold or routed for parts when practical. End-of-life appliances should follow an appropriate recycling or disposal path.
Service Transparency
Our city and regional pages describe coverage and routing areas. They do not imply a staffed storefront in every city. Coverage can change with provider availability, appliance demand, distance and access conditions.
We publish qualification rules, service-area information, contact methods and service terms so customers can understand the process before submitting a request.
