Thornton Appliance Pickup for Qualifying Loads
Yes—qualifying working or reusable major appliances can receive free pickup in Thornton after review. Requests are reviewed within our northern Denver-metro coverage, with priority on appliances useful enough to support a free pickup route. The fastest reviews include accurate condition details, a complete appliance list and clear access notes.
Free pickup is not automatic. Fully working major appliances may qualify. Mixed loads may qualify when approximately 80% of the major appliances work. A single appliance that does not work does not qualify for free pickup.

Property managers can submit multiple appliances in one request. List every item and condition individually. That helps us evaluate whether the overall load meets the working-appliance threshold and whether a larger route makes sense.
Category Limits
Microwaves are accepted only when included with another qualifying major appliance. Dishwashers are considered only with two or more major working appliances. Unknown-condition items may need additional photos or testing information before approval.
Do not rely on the form alone as confirmation. The Colorado team reviews the request and confirms the pickup window only after the route and load are accepted.
Thornton's City Bulky-Item Option
If an appliance does not qualify for our service, Thornton residents can review the City's Click & Haul program. The City lists appliances among eligible bulky items and publishes current appointment, pricing and placement rules. Thornton also publishes separate appliance drop-off information for certain items.
