Santa Maria Washer & Dryer Pickup Review
Working washers, dryers and complete laundry sets receive the strongest consideration. A single working machine can also be reviewed. Machines needing repair may sometimes be useful when local demand exists, but a nonworking appliance by itself generally does not qualify for free pickup.
Santa Maria requests are reviewed as part of the northern Santa Barbara County / Central Coast route. Longer route distance makes accurate working-condition information, clear photos, access notes and the exact pickup address especially important.
What We Review
Washer details
Report whether it fills, washes, drains and spins. Mention leaks, unusual noise or error codes.
Dryer details
Report whether it tumbles and heats, and identify gas or electric when known.
Pickup access
Include floor level, stairs, elevator, gates, parking and carrying distance.

Another Local Disposal Option
Santa Maria does not provide regular curbside bulky-item pickup. The city says eligible residential trash customers may receive an annual free landfill pass that can be used for white goods such as washers, dryers and refrigerators. See Santa Maria's landfill-pass information.
Public-program rules can change. Check the official city page before setting anything out.
