Ontario Stove, Range & Oven Pickup Review
Ontario stove and range requests are reviewed around the actual removal path, not just the appliance name. Tell us whether the unit is in a house, apartment, condo, garage, warehouse or other commercial property; include stairs, elevator or gate access, loading or parking limits and the carry distance.
Gas or electric
Identify fuel type and whether the unit is freestanding, slide-in or built-in. Do not attempt unsafe disconnection work.
Tested functions
Report working burners or elements, oven heat, ignition and any control-panel or door problems.
Ontario access
For apartments and condos, include building or property-manager access rules, elevator availability and loading details. For business properties, include dock or appointment restrictions.
Fast review: text photos to 909-375-6685 with the Ontario ZIP, fuel type, condition and access.
How the Ontario Review Works
1. Send the basics
Start with photos, ZIP code and actual working condition.
2. Qualification review
We review condition, access, current demand and Inland Empire route availability.
3. Confirm access
If the request qualifies, final pickup and removal details are confirmed before scheduling.
Prepare the Stove, Range & Oven Safely
Do not attempt unsafe gas or electrical work. Tell us whether the appliance is already disconnected. When professional disconnection is required, arrange it with an appropriate qualified person before removal.
Ontario Local Disposal Alternative
If a stove or range does not qualify for our reuse-focused route, the City of Ontario has a separate resident bulky-item program. The City currently says single-family residents may schedule up to four appointments per calendar year, with up to five large items per appointment. Apartment and condo residents are directed to their property or association manager for scheduling.
The City also lists appliances among accepted items at community cleanup events. Businesses can request bulky-item collection for a fee and are not eligible for those resident cleanup events.

Ontario Stove, Range & Oven Pickup FAQ
Can a working stove or range qualify for free pickup in Ontario?
Yes. A working or reusable cooking appliance may qualify after fuel type, condition, exact location, access and current 909 route availability are reviewed.
What should I send first?
Send photos, Ontario ZIP, gas/electric type, working burner and oven details, disconnection status, floor level, gates, elevator or loading information.
What if it does not qualify?
Ontario residents can compare the City's appointment-based bulky-item program. Single-family limits and apartment/condo scheduling rules differ, so check the City's current instructions before placing anything curbside.
Is free pickup guaranteed?
No. Qualification, safe access, demand and route availability must be confirmed first.
