New York Statewide Appliance Pickup Requests

Customers can submit washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ranges, ovens and qualifying multi-appliance loads. We review the exact city or ZIP code, appliance condition, reuse potential, stairs and access before any pickup is confirmed.

Expansion-market notice: this page accepts requests statewide, but it does not mean a local pickup partner is already active in every New York city. Free pickup is confirmed only after qualification and available local coverage are reviewed.

New York Demand Regions We Track

Instead of publishing hundreds of nearly identical city pages, we use statewide intake and meaningful regional demand groups. Each submitted city and ZIP code helps show where a dedicated local partner or future city page may be justified.

New York City & Long Island

New York City, Nassau and Suffolk County requests require exact access, floor and parking details.

Hudson Valley

Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle and broader Hudson Valley requests.

Capital Region

Albany, Schenectady, Troy and surrounding Capital Region communities.

Rochester & Finger Lakes

Rochester and nearby Finger Lakes communities.

Buffalo & Western New York

Buffalo, Niagara Falls and surrounding Western New York requests.

New York Requires Separate Downstate and Upstate Pickup Logic

A statewide page cannot responsibly treat New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, Albany, Rochester and Buffalo as one route. The form records the actual city and ZIP so downstate demand and upstate demand can build independently. A partner who can handle a suburban garage pickup may not be the right match for an apartment building with elevator, loading or access rules.

New York City and dense-building requests

For an apartment, condo or managed building, include the floor, elevator availability, loading instructions, doorway limits and any building scheduling requirements. Do not move a reusable appliance into a hallway or curb area before pickup is confirmed. If property management requires advance access coordination, include that in the first request.

Long Island, Hudson Valley and upstate requests

These requests are tracked separately from New York City. Rochester/Finger Lakes, Buffalo/Western New York and the Capital Region each need local buyers or pickup professionals. The statewide intake shows us where enough qualified demand exists to justify recruiting rather than pretending a single statewide fleet is available.

Condition rules stay consistent

Fully working major appliances may qualify for free pickup when a local route is available. Mixed loads may qualify when approximately 80% of the major appliances work. For cooling appliances, provide current temperature performance; for washers and dryers, list tested functions; for ranges, identify fuel type and working controls. A single completely nonworking appliance does not automatically qualify.

Microwaves are accepted only with another qualifying major appliance, while dishwashers require two or more major working appliances. Landlords, multifamily operators, senior communities, hotels and installers can submit recurring replacement loads, but each property still needs accurate access information.

The page is therefore a statewide request network, not a statement that free pickup is active in every New York municipality. Confirmation comes only after the appliance, access and local coverage are reviewed.

New York Appliance Pickup FAQ

Can I submit even if my city is not listed above?

Yes. The form accepts requests from anywhere in New York. The regions above are demand groups, not a complete list of cities with guaranteed coverage.

Will someone call me immediately?

Your request must first be reviewed for appliance condition, location, access and available local coverage. A pickup is not confirmed until those details match an available route or participating local partner.

Can landlords or businesses submit several appliances?

Yes. Property managers, apartments, senior communities, hotels, installers, retailers and other organizations can describe one-time or recurring appliance replacement loads in the same request.
