Keizer Appliance Pickup Review
This page is for major-appliance pickup requests at Keizer addresses. Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, stoves, ranges and mixed major-appliance loads can be reviewed for qualification before a route is confirmed.
Washer-, dryer- and laundry-set-only requests should use the dedicated washer & dryer pickup guide.
How Keizer Pickup Review Works
1. Send appliance details
Include appliance type, tested condition, photos and whether the unit is already disconnected and movable.
2. Describe the access
Tell us about floor level, stairs, doors, driveway or parking access, gates and carrying distance.
3. Confirm qualification and route
Free pickup is qualification-based. Pickup is confirmed only after condition, access and current route availability are reviewed.
Keizer Appliance Qualification
Working and reusable major appliances are the strongest candidates for free pickup. Minor-repair situations may be considered, and mixed loads can be reviewed when roughly 80% of the major appliances are working.
Keizer Homes, Rentals and Access
Garages, driveways, apartments, stairs, narrow doors and long carries can change the handling plan. For rental turnovers or multi-appliance requests, list each appliance separately and explain whether the units are staged, connected or still inside the property.
For refrigerators, include interior and exterior photos and say whether the unit is holding temperature. For washers and dryers, describe basic tested functions and whether the dryer is gas or electric.
Official Paid Backup: Salem-Keizer Transfer Station
If an appliance does not qualify for our free reuse-based pickup, Marion County's Salem-Keizer Recycling and Transfer Station accepts appliances for a fee. Marion County publishes separate rates for appliances with and without refrigerant and explains the applicable handling requirements.

Clear appliance photos and tested condition help us review reuse potential before a route is confirmed.

For multiple appliances, send each unit separately so condition and access are clear.
