Aurora Washer & Dryer Pickup Review
Working washers, dryers and complete laundry sets receive priority in Aurora. Free pickup depends on machine condition, exact address, access, local demand and current Denver–Aurora route availability.
How Aurora Laundry Pickup Works
1. Test the Machines
For a washer, report whether it powers on, fills, washes, drains and reaches final spin. For a dryer, report whether it powers on, tumbles and heats.
2. Send Photos & Access
Include full-machine photos, model labels when available, stacked installation details, floor level, stairs, elevator and doorway or hallway restrictions.
3. Confirm the Route
If the laundry request qualifies and the current Aurora route can accept it, pickup details are confirmed before anyone arrives.
Washer Pickup in Aurora
A working top-load or front-load washer can be reviewed by itself. Mention leaks, error codes, lid-lock or door-lock problems, bearing noise and water left in the tub. If the washer is still connected, describe the hose and valve setup rather than forcing stuck plumbing just to submit a request.
Dryer Pickup in Aurora
A working gas or electric dryer can also be reviewed by itself. Tell us whether the drum turns and whether the machine produces heat. Mention unusual noise, damaged controls or a door that will not latch. Do not disconnect or cap a gas line unless you are qualified to do so.
Aurora Apartments, Basements & Laundry Closets
Apartment, condo and rental-turnover pickups need clear access details. Include floor level, stair flights, elevator reservations, loading rules, laundry-closet width, stacked configuration and the distance from the machines to the loading point.
For basement or upper-floor laundry, send the entire removal path. Tight turns, narrow doors and building move restrictions can affect whether a pickup can be completed safely.
Free Laundry Pickup Qualification
A single working washer, single working dryer or complete working set can be reviewed. Minor repair needs may sometimes be considered when the issue is described accurately. A single completely nonworking machine generally does not qualify for the standard free route.

Aurora Reuse & Disposal Backup
If laundry equipment does not qualify for our route, the City of Aurora lists Habitat for Humanity ReStore as a reuse option for some clean, fully working appliances and specifically includes washers and dryers among the appliance categories that may be accepted. The City also explains that residential trash and recycling collection is arranged through private haulers rather than a city curbside service.
