Alabama Statewide Appliance Pickup Requests
Customers can submit washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, stoves, ranges, ovens and qualifying multi-appliance loads. We review the exact city or ZIP code, appliance condition, reuse potential, stairs and access before any pickup is confirmed.
Alabama Demand Regions We Track
Instead of publishing hundreds of nearly identical city pages, we use statewide intake and meaningful regional demand groups. Each submitted city and ZIP code helps show where a dedicated local partner or future city page may be justified.
Birmingham Metro
Birmingham, Hoover, Bessemer and surrounding metro communities.
Huntsville & North Alabama
Huntsville, Madison, Decatur and surrounding North Alabama requests.
Montgomery & Central Alabama
Montgomery and surrounding Central Alabama communities.
Mobile & Baldwin County
Mobile, Daphne, Fairhope and surrounding Gulf Coast communities.
Tuscaloosa & East Alabama
Tuscaloosa, Auburn, Opelika and other regional Alabama requests.
How Alabama Requests Are Reviewed by Region
Alabama requests are not treated as one statewide truck route. A Birmingham-area request, a Huntsville-area request and a Mobile-area request need different local coverage. The form therefore asks for the real pickup city and ZIP code before we decide whether a buyer, reseller, repair business or pickup operator is close enough to review the appliance.
For Birmingham and nearby communities, recurring apartment, rental and property-turnover loads can be especially useful because several appliances may be available at one address. Huntsville and North Alabama requests are tracked separately so demand there is not hidden inside Birmingham totals. Mobile and Baldwin County submissions form another distinct demand group rather than being routed as if the Gulf Coast were part of a central-Alabama service area.
What helps an Alabama request qualify
Working condition comes first. Tell us whether a refrigerator cools, a freezer holds temperature, a washer fills/drains/spins, a dryer tumbles/heats, and whether a stove or oven operates. A fully working major appliance may qualify for free pickup when local coverage exists. Mixed loads may be considered when approximately 80% of the major appliances are working. One completely nonworking appliance by itself does not automatically qualify.
Access matters too. Include stairs, floor level, gates, long carries, narrow doors and whether the appliance is in a garage, driveway or inside. For a property manager or business, list every appliance and its condition instead of describing the load only as “old appliances.”
What statewide intake means in Alabama
This page measures real demand before a local route is promised. A city appearing in the regional list means we want requests from that area; it does not mean an active pickup professional is already available there every day. When repeated qualified requests develop in the same region, that evidence helps us decide where to recruit and approve local partners.
Microwaves are not accepted alone. Dishwashers are considered only with two or more major working appliances. If a request cannot be matched to qualifying free pickup, the form still helps identify where future Alabama coverage is needed.
Alabama Appliance Pickup FAQ
Can I submit even if my city is not listed above?
Yes. The form accepts requests from anywhere in Alabama. The regions above are demand groups, not a complete list of cities with guaranteed coverage.
Will someone call me immediately?
Your request must first be reviewed for appliance condition, location, access and available local coverage. A pickup is not confirmed until those details match an available route or participating local partner.
Can landlords or businesses submit several appliances?
Yes. Property managers, apartments, senior communities, hotels, installers, retailers and other organizations can describe one-time or recurring appliance replacement loads in the same request.
