Sacramento City Appliance Pickup vs. Our Laundry Route
The City of Sacramento appliance and e-waste program currently gives residential collection customers two free appliance/e-waste appointments per calendar year and allows up to two appliances per appointment. Washers and dryers are listed as accepted appliances.
The City requires appliances to be placed in the street, visible and easy to access, and says tenants in multifamily properties with five or more units that are not served by City solid waste should work with the landlord, property manager or commercial hauler. Commercial appliances are not accepted by the City program.
