The City of Phoenix Appliance Recycling program is a separate option for residents whose washer or dryer does not fit our reuse-focused route. Phoenix accepts washers and dryers through its appliance-recycling program and allows residents to use City transfer stations or schedule curbside appliance pickup.
Phoenix currently lists a scheduled curbside charge for non-refrigerant appliances such as washers and dryers, while eligible residential solid-waste customers also have transfer-station disposal allowances. Our service is different because qualifying reusable laundry equipment can be reviewed for pickup at the property before disposal.
