How is this different from city bulk collection?
Columbus also offers municipal bulk collection for qualifying residents and certain appliances without refrigerants. City collection generally requires a scheduled curbside placement. Our service instead reviews appliance condition, photos and access details with an independent pickup partner. Confirm any inside removal, stairs, availability and cost before pickup.

What we review for pickup
Tell us whether the appliance powers on and performs its normal functions. For refrigerators and freezers, confirm whether they cool or freeze properly. For washers, tell us whether they fill, drain and spin; for dryers, whether the drum turns and heats. If unsure, choose Unknown in the form.
Working single appliances and multi-appliance loads may qualify. Nonworking appliances or loads containing mostly nonworking items may not qualify for free service. Dishwashers are only considered alongside at least two other major working appliances; microwaves are not accepted alone.
