Freezer Pickup in Aurora
Working upright and chest freezers can be submitted for Aurora pickup review. Freezing performance, cleanliness, completeness, size and property access help determine whether a free route is practical.
What We Need to Know
Freezing Condition
Tell us whether the freezer is plugged in and maintaining proper frozen temperature.
Type & Size
State whether it is an upright or chest freezer and include approximate dimensions when possible.
Location
Hot-garage, patio or outdoor storage can affect condition, so tell us where the freezer is currently operating or stored.
Aurora Address & Access Review
Aurora requests may come from apartments, townhomes, garages and single-family homes across North Aurora, Hoffman Heights, Heather Gardens, Heather Ridge, Village East, Meadow Hills, Mission Viejo, Seven Hills, Sterling Hills and southeast Aurora. Submit the exact street address because Aurora spans multiple counties and mailing areas can overlap nearby communities.
Include stairs, elevator rules, doorway clearance, gates, parking/loading access and carrying distance before pickup is confirmed.
Free Pickup Is Qualification-Based
Working and reusable appliances receive priority. Minor repair needs may be considered when local reuse demand supports the route. A single nonworking appliance generally does not qualify under the standard free-pickup rules.
Need Pickup for a Different Appliance?
This page is specifically for freezer pickup. For other appliance types or mixed major-appliance loads, use the Aurora appliance pickup page.
Aurora Recycling & Disposal Backup
If this freezer does not qualify for our reuse-focused free route, Aurora residents can check the City of Aurora's appliance recycling resources. Aurora says residential trash and recycling are arranged through permitted private haulers rather than a city-run curbside trash service.
